MOBILE APP USER MANUAL

The Global Remit Mobile App provides customers with secure and convenient access to remittance services, transaction records, exchange rates, and account management functions.

 

  1. ACCESS LEVELS
  • A. Login Required
  • The following features are available only to registered and verified customers:

    B. No Login Required

    The following features are accessible without login:

    1. Exchange Rates
    2. Payment Methods
    3. Receive Money
    4. Settings
    5. Website
    6. Help (FAQ & Contact)
    7. New Registration

    If you are not yet registered, select “New Registration” and follow the instructions provided.

    1. SEND MONEY

    (Available to registered and verified customers only)

    Step 1: Select Beneficiary

    • Choose an existing beneficiary
    • Add a New Beneficiary
    • Enter complete and accurate beneficiary details
    • Ensure all information is correct before saving

    Step 2: Select Payment Method

    Available options:

    • Pay Cash at Shop
    • Pay by Easy Transfer
    • Pay by MPay

    Step 3: Enter Amount

    • Input the amount in MOP
    • Tap Next

    The system will automatically calculate:

    • Converted foreign currency amount
    • Applicable service fee
    • Total payable amount

    Loyalty Points (Mobile App Rule)

    If you have available loyalty points:

    • Your points balance will be displayed.
    • Points may be applied to offset the service fee only, up to the total applicable fee.
    • Points cannot be used to reduce the remittance principal in the mobile app.

    The system will automatically display:

    • Original service fee
    • Points applied
    • Updated payable amount

    Step 4: Review & Confirm

    • Select Source of Funds
    • Select Purpose of Remittance
    • Review all transaction details carefully
    • Click Create Transaction or Send Money
    1. PAYMENT COMPLETION

    If paying at the counter:

    • Present the generated QR code at our shop
    • Counter staff will confirm final payable amount
    • Loyalty points may be applied in accordance with company policy before payment confirmation

    If paying electronically:

    • Follow the relevant payment method instructions
    • Ensure correct Transaction Reference Number (TRN) is used when required
    1. TRANSACTION HISTORY

    View and track:

    • Past transactions, Status updates, Transaction details
    1. ME (PROFILE & LOYALTY)

    Under this section, you may:

    • View personal information, Check loyalty points balance, View loyalty card information
    • Loyalty points:
    • Accumulation based on eligible transactions
    • Cannot redeemed by cash
    • Are non-transferable
    • Are subject to company terms and conditions
    1. EXCHANGE RATES

    Rate Table

    • View current exchange rates offered by Global Remit.

    Rate Calculator

    • Estimate the receiving amount before initiating a transaction.
    • Rates are indicative and subject to confirmation at the time of transaction processing.
